Incapable Dreams

Chapter 6

"so, how is the emperor?" I asked trying to make conversation. "Oh, she's.... uh... okay, she is very strict and doesn't accept any rude manners. She wants everything her way and she pretty much cares about us. She just wants to protect us all." Emily replied.

Okay I had to be on her good side.

Suddenly, the misty air felt cold against my bare arms and legs.

"Hey, do you feel that?" I asked cautiously.

"hmm? No." Emily muttered.

"Its very cold I don't know why." I said.

it took a moment before she said, "oh, I feel it too."

"Is that good or something?" I asked.

"No its bad very bad..." Emily stammered.

"w-what does it mean?" I asked s.h.i.+vering because the air started to feel like icicles p.r.i.c.king in my skin.

"It means that danger is coming its way." Emily said her eyes wide.

She didn't have to go into further explanation to let me guess.

It probably meant that my dad was coming. Coming to hurt me.

The air was getting colder and I was afraid I'd might get frostbite.

Not only the wind changed but the sky started to glow with sunlight. Though, something was strange the sunlight was cold and it didn't warm me up.

The wind started to pick up and I thought I was gonna die right here right now.

"You have to go!" Emily shouted.

"Its too dangerous here. come back tomorrow night"

"B-but... h-how?" I managed to chatter through my teeth.

"No time to explain. You'll wake up in your dorm now go!" Emily replied and before I could say anything else, I felt like I was being pulled away.

I opened my eyes and found myself in my dorm with a huge headache.

It was still dark outside with the s.h.i.+ny moonlight pouring through my curtains and into my room.

I felt a faint s.h.i.+ver from my dream.... or that place?

I couldn't think so I laid back in bed and fell back asleep, dreaming about puppies and unicorns but I knew my life wasn't filled with happiness.
