Rising Of The Divine Stone Cultivation Tablet

Chapter 6

"What do you bet!" he shouted, "Your life? Your money? I'll bet this sword!"

"That? Alright, I'll bet my stones!" I shouted as I pulled out a bag with the crystal-like stones inside.

"HAHAHA! You shouldn't have even tried fighting me! I'm at the peak of body building! You're probably only at the 5th at most! Your money is mine!!!" he laughed as though he already won.

The battle started, we instantly rushed in and we clashed, leaving a loud bang in the entire stadium. Sparks flew after every clash, leaving an after image after every move. The crowd cheered loudly as the stale mate was suddenly leaning towards me, after another a loud crack could be heard.

"AAAARRGGHH!!!!!!" yelled the man "MY ARM!!! MY ARM!!!!!!"

He rolled on the floor, cradling his mangled arm until he eventually fainted. It was clear that the battle was over, the crowd roared once more, as I walked up and grabbed my money and his blade.

"The winner of this dual is… Fang mo!!!" The announcer shouted, almost as if he was astonished.

The crowed once again cheered as I raised my arms In victory. Soon challengers lined up one after another to try and beat me, slowly but surely, my spirit stone tripled! I gained various weapons that could also be sold for large amounts of spirit stones, and even had a time where someone had to bet their life! I chose to let them keep it and shoo'd them away.

Once the arena closed, I had about 5 sky tier weapons, 10 black tier, and over 20,000

At the market there were a few things I bought, I bought some basic, intermediate and advanced rune manuals, 10 bottles of body refining pills, some rune brushes and some metal refining manuals to see if I can fix my gauntlets and discover a higher up tier of weaponry.

The total cost of everything was about 2,500 low-grade spirit stones, which is a large chunk of money, but a small price to pay for the future potential that can be discovered. I quickly rushed back to the sect and immediately started reading through all the manuals, I realised that he gauntlets were covered in runes, although they were runes, they were at a higher level than anyone had ever seen, the movement of the strokes and the perfect usage of the engravings filled with the ink, made with perfection, as though this was a piece of equipment that should have never existed.

Although there were runes on it, you could see little pictures of a sword, bow whip, spear, even a polearm! The runes we far too intricate for any of my manuals to understand, so I studied the manuals hoping that one day I'll find a rune book strong enough to teach me how to understand.

After many hours, I finally completed reading all the runic and the repair manuals. The runes were rather easy to understand, insert your spiritual energy through the ink and it will form whatever rune you're making, however, the repair manual was more intricate, it required a strong flame to be able to merge together the metals and materials inside the gauntlets to strengthen it's quality to a peak heaven tier weapon!

The only flame I could think of using was the vermillion bird spirit that was absorbed from the cultivation chambers. The morphed spirit was summoned, as it went from it's almost static like appearance to a small vermillion bird.

"that's… incredible!!! To think that it actually worked!" I exclaimed after seeing the vermillion birds flaming body close up in all of its glory.

I immediately withdrew the fire and carefully held it towards the inside of the gauntlets, so I don't damage the runes. The steady heat on each centimetre of the gauntlet was the most important part of the procedure, otherwise it will merge wrong and be forever ruined.

After almost an hour of welding, the gauntlets were finally fixed to the peak of heaven tier! The gauntlets felt as strong as a mountain, and as heavy as a hundred kilograms! They moved almost at lightning speed besides the fact they weigh so much.

"on to the runes I guess!" I sighed as it's already past midnight

The runes were rather simple, I channelled my qi in the brush and started copying the runes shown in the book.

One stroke!

Two strokes!

Five strokes!

Ten strokes!

Within ten strokes and only thirty seconds, the rune was already completed, although the lines looked dull in comparison to the gauntlets, they seemed like they could fetch a hefty price, especially since they were runes in enhancing cultivation speed for a while.

After that, I made many more runes, the more the better. Stroke after stroke, the piles stacked up and my knowledge of runes increased, slowly but surely, I gained perfect line work! the strokes looked many times better then what the ones before did, the strokes smooth and not too wide, clearly showing that they must be at least twice as strong as the ones made before.

The chances of making a perfect line work rune was one in five, but the more i knew, the less that would be required, after about a hundred more runes, my qi couldn't handle it anymore. I laid on the floor, incredibly exhausted, but all of a sudden, a thought came to my head.

"wait a minute! If I can make these runes with hardly any effort, won't I make a ma.s.sive profit off of this???"
