Chapter 5
There was the news about some unfortunate accident that he could care less about on the TV and it was rather sunny outside. In other words, a perfect day to be lazy. Hide placed his cup down on the table and stretched a bit. Thanks to the fat f*cker and his useless people he came back late last night. Or rather this morning. By the time he came back it was already 2AM and Eliza had long since fell asleep.
"So what's the plan today William?"
The soft voice of his sister asked, pulling him back from his thoughts. Hide turned towards her and shrugged a bit, holding back a yawn.
"lazy day? We can go for a picnic?"
"How about you go sleep some more and I prepare for the picnic?"
"But I'm almo-yawn- almost awake…"
He stretched again, hearing his joints pop with a nice, satisfying groan. Hide stood up, rubbing his eyes. Once again making Eliza giggle at him with an urge to coo.
"I'm gonna go shower"
With that he stood up and headed for the bathroom. They still hadn't replaced the mirror he punched but his hand had healed over nicely. Truthfully, he had been planning to go out and gather some information.
But had realized that Eliza had been stuck inside the house for a week and it wasn't time to blow his cover just yet. Besides it can't be healthy to stay cooped up inside for a pregnant woman.
Once he was done with his shower, Hide quickly dried his hair and changed into clean clothes then walked downstairs after tossing his b.l.o.o.d.y clothes into the shadows. They would get rid of it for him.
In the kitchen, Eliza was making sandwiches with a big basket on the counter and a baby blue blanket beside it. Hide blinked and walked towards the fridge, taking out 2 bottles of water, a carton of juice and 4 cans of soda. He placed them inside the basket carefully then took a few plates, 2 portable eating utensils and a small pie as well as some fruits and placed them all inside the basket again, making sure to leave some s.p.a.ce for the sandwiches and the blanket.
"Eliza, do we need anything else?"
"No that's it. Thank you William" His sister beamed brightly at him as she placed the carefully wrapped sandwiches inside then placed the blanket on them and closed the basket lid.
Hide quickly grabbed the car keys and
With everything done, after they locked the doors. The pair drove towards the park near the apartment. It was a rather nice place with lush green gra.s.s and tall trees providing a place away from the sun. There was a small river a little bit away from the tree they chose to set their blanket on.
Once Hide had Eliza settled on the baby blue blanket, he spread out the food and the drinks. Once done, he himself settled across her on the blanket and dove into the cake. Making the pregnant woman giggle, as she peeled tangerines to eat.
It was a rare moment of peace for Hide and chance for Eliza to talk with him. But, Eliza did not want to make him uncomfortable and ruin their impromptu picnic season. Eliza loved both Blance brothers but it was different because she only viewed William as little brother.
Louis, her dear husband will always have her heart and she will forever wait for him to come home like she promised. Louis was her everything, her light and her very own home. But William was both their protector. He protected them from everything he could protect them from. He protected Louis since they were little and she was lucky enough to be included in that short list of precious people that William had enough to be protected and treasured by the dangerous but hurt man sitting in front of her.
When they first met, William didn't like her for one bit. He would always avoid her when Louis dragged him to meet her. But over the time he started taking care of her as well alongside Louis. And the 3 had become a tight knit group. So it was obvious why both Louis and herself had panicked when William disappeared. From what Louis told her, it had been the second time William had gone missing. And while he came back alive, the sweet kid Louis used to know was never the same.
And then William came back into the society's spotlight, being called by his middle name and as a criminal. It had been a great shock for the couple.
But case in point. Eliza and Louis both loved William dearly, and Louis made her promise to take care of William for him before he went and got himself into the prison. So now, the blond haired woman is going to talk to William whether he likes it or not. And she will take care of him.
Eliza opened her mouth to start a small talk with her brother in law who was busy stuffing his face with a cake and managing to look graceful when they were interrupted by a voice calling out.
"Daniel!!!!"
Both heads turned towards the source of the voice, finding a guy with dark blueish hair and matching eyes running towards them with a woman with short black hair and light green eyes following after him with an exasperated sigh. This was the 'Hero' and his girlfriend.
Hide raised his hand to greet them and-

Liliana always thought of herself as a calm person. After all, she had remained calm when her sc.u.m of a Father forced her to feed the family with her small body.
She had remained calm when her father killed her mother. She remained calm even when she bloodied her hands with the blood of her sc.u.m of a Father under the watchful eyes of Hide. Only time she had lost her cool was when she had worried for Roy during the final battle with Hide.
But right now, staring at the man Roy had been searching for all week. Liliana couldn't help but tremble as cold sweat broke down her back. Daniel Black as Roy introduced him at the beach hadn't felt like anything special then. And he had been kind of rude so Liliana had to hold Roy back and ended up watching him leave the beach unbothered by the guards under the command of Roy.
All week, it had been pretty obvious that Roy was crus.h.i.+ng on the man and even Liliana would admit that Daniel was handsome. Even then nothing had prepared for the sheer power she felt from getting within 7metres of the red haired man.
And the last time she felt this much power was….
They all turned towards her with wide eyes as Liliana stood there without even realizing that she had said it loudly.
"Hide…."
