Chapter 15
The black haired man sat up a little too quickly, making his vision swim for a minute. He quickly lifted his s.h.i.+rt up and checked for an injury. After all, Judas did get stabbed right?.....
All thoughts fled his mind, blue eyes staring at the clean, wound free skin instead of bandage wrapped abdomen.
He panicked, trying to come up with an explanation for why he wasn't injured. Had it all been a dream? But they all felt so real! Getting hit hurt and being stabbed even more so!
His breaths were coming out short, his hands shook and Judas pulled his knees to himself, curling into a ball.
'Deep breaths…'
'Calm down Judas, calm down..'
He shakily breathed in and out, swaying side to side in order to comfort himself. He got stabbed… he was stabbed, why isn't there a wound then!? What's going on!? Why can't he remember anything after that!?
'Judas, Calm do-'
"Judas, I'm coming in"
He froze, hearing the door open as Rowan entered. Trembling, Judas looked up at the old man standing by his bedside with tears in his eyes.
"R-Rowan?..."
The man nodded and sat down beside him, pulling him into a hug. Which Judas leaned into instinctively. He hurried his face into Rowan's shoulder sobbing.
"Shh, child. Everything is fine. You won the fight, and you came back uninjured."
The blue eyed youth flinched at the reminder, making the hand rubbing circles on his back halt. As the worried brown eyes caught his own as if searching for something. Then Rowan sighed slightly.
" So you were stabbed after all. "
" P-Please don't leave me! I promise I'll be good! I'll even share my toys with Dani so please-"
"Hush, it's fine. I'm not gonna leave you. You don't have to be afraid"
Rowan hushed, running a hand through Judas's hair. This poor child must have been so terrified. For him to react like this, it must have not been the first time he used his ability like this.
'Healing ability is indeed useful but to break someone who has it… Then the people who did so deserve worse than the pit' Rowan thought with a frown and glanced at the crying mess in his embrace.
His breath had evened out and it was clear Judas had knocked himself out after crying.
Sighing, Rowan gently placed the boy back on the bed. Covering Judas with the blanket, the old man walked out quietly, his eyes shadowed. He had some calls to make.

When Judas opened his eyes again, it was not the usual blue instead they were amethyst purple in color.
Hide frowned, glancing down at his pale hands. They were too pale, then again he lost a lot of blood until Elona finished healing the wound.
But to think, his persona managed to crack enough to remember some of Hide's own memories was (is) a bad sign.
Standing up with a sigh, he walked towards the mirror. Staring at the familiar yet so foreign face, he tilted his head and spoke.
"Come out, I know you're watching"
"hAHahA…"
Laughter
"h.e.l.lo to you too dear Hide~ or is it Judas now?"
"Cut the c.r.a.p Demon. What did you do earlier?"
The reflection huffed and looked away crossing his arms. Hide snorted and raised an expecting eyebrow.
"Fine~ you're no fun."
"Stop wasting my time and just say it!" he snapped. The demon sighed dramatically.
"Okay, okay I'll say. It wasn't me that did anything."
"Then who-"
"Silly, it's your persona! We were both supposed to sleep while your persona kept all our knowledge about poison and your body retained it's muscle memories. But your persona got stabbed and in kids of panic, he called us out and woke us up!"
"Oh.."
"Yeah oh, you might want to keep an eye on it in case it does something unnecessary. Now I'm going back to sleep."
Then he disappeared and the reflection of Judas in the Mirror went back to normal. Hide rubbed his temple and collapsed on the chair behind him.
This was bad, this was seriously bad. If his persona reacted like this in his first fight, he had no idea what it would do in later fights!
He took a deep breath and released it slowly.
"I guess I'll have to keep an eye on it. But first there are some things to do."
Walking back to the bed, he picked up the phone on the nightstand and dialed the number he knew will annoy her the most when it rings.
Within a minute the phone picked up and Hide smirked.
" Hey darling~ I need you to do me some more favors~"

Louis glared at the man sitting in front of him.
He had once again been called to meet him. Seriously, why can't this guy leave him alone? It was annoying and Louis kind of wished this liar's nose would grow every time he lies, like Pinocchio's.
The man opened his mouth about to repeat the same f.u.c.king question for the hundredth time when Louis interrupted him.
"I told you no already. Aren't you being a little too persistent?"
The man sighed, taking off his gla.s.ses.
"and I told you Mr.Blance, I'm not taking No for an answer"
Louis scowled at him.
"I said no, I'm not changing my answer Mr.I don't have a name!"
The man rubbed the bridge of his nose muttering something about 'not wanting to do this.'
What was he talking about? Louis was confused. But it was probably something unpleasant. 'Like Will's job right? ~' some part of his mind whispered.
The red and silver haired man watched the lying pinocchio pull out a file from the black case, motioning for him to open it.
Louis warily picked up the file and opened it. He looked down at the pictures.
"W-Wha?.."
His breath caught in his throat as many questions raced in his mind. Starting from 'Where did you get those!?'
'What is William doing!?'
'Where is he!? Why is Trigger there and not him!?'
'If those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds touch them…'
Finally, Louis settled on one. Looking at the man coldly, he growled out.
"What are you planning by giving me this?"
In his hands were the pictures of very pregnant Eliza shopping with Trigger in some of the pictures with her.
The man tilted his head and had the gall to smile at him.
"Oh absolutely nothing. Unless you are absolutely sure in telling us no"
Louis growled once again… He looked away and stared at the pictures.
Eliza, his dear Eliza, was supposed to be safe with their daughter. While he did not doubt Trigger's ability to protect him and William probably had a reason for leaving those two. He can't risk it.
Louis loved William, he really did. William was his only sibling and someone Louis knew he could depend on.
But Louis can't, won't risk the safety of his family.

In the end, it seems like he loves his own family a bit more.
Louis looked up at the man, pocketing the pictures.
"What do you want me to do?"
The man's smile widened and he reached out for a handshake.
'I'm sorry Will…'
He thought as he took the man's hand and shook it. Making the man's smile turn into smirk.
"I absolutely look forward to working with you Mr.Blance. I am Sohei Katsuki, the representative of the World Peace Organization. And I promise you won't regret your decision"
.

Last thing Louis saw was a glowing sea green eyes.
Then….
A darkness.
