Chapter 60

Nothing? I scrunch open one of my eyes to find the still sleeping Manbun. Phew, that scared the transmigrated soul out of me.
After opening my eyes, I noticed the blanket slid off Manbun's body. Ah, I guess he was really tired, to go to sleep in that stiff military outfit. Well, no matter, this situation is more beneficial to me anyways.
I carefully open Manbun's s.h.i.+rt pocket and slowly slide the flag against the thin material, into the depths of the pocket. After reb.u.t.toning his s.h.i.+rt, I rush out of the room, escaping from the courtyard. I ended up wasting 6 minutes in there.
After completing the task of hiding the flag, I move on to the next step. I follow my memory to Magi-kun's lab. Entering the lab I quickly spot the sleeping child.
I don't want to be rude and wake him from his sleep but I have a deadline, I can't worry about other people right now.
I slam into his head with my body. He groggily awakens,"...who dares..throw a pencil at me.."
...
I float to the front of his face and flick his forehead. The flick returned his conciousness and awakened him fully. He looks at me with an annoyed expression,"What."
"I need your help...not for free of course." After spending so much time with this guy, it would be pathetic if I couldn't understand how his brain worked.
"What do you need." Nice, he grabbed the bait.
Now for the next step in my plan,"Do you have any throwable items than can slow or stop a person for a short amount of time?"
"How long?"
"Hmm...10 minutes maybe?"
"Ok, give me a second." He turns to his computer and types in the key words: "throwable" "incapacitate" "impermanent"
...show off.
After pressing the enter key, multiple items pop up alongside a short description of the object. Magi-kun quickly scrolls through the items until finally stopping at a gla.s.s bottle full of dark purple sludge. He mumbles to himself before getting up. Walking to a cabinet he reaches for the handle before realizing he's not tall enough to reach. With a small blush surfacing on his cheeks, Magi-kun carries over a stool and places it under the shelf. Climbing up, he opens the cabinet and a long metal shelf about a meter long springs out of the small cabinet. Looking through the variety of colors and shapes he grabs a replica of the purple sludge on the screen.
