Football System

Chapter 5

After having breakfast with them I would train on my obstacle course for around 2 and half hours. Slowly trying to integrate new future training methods, but my body was too young for that, so I was doing the lite version. the last 30 minutes I would clean the backyard as much as possible, advancing little by little.

I would have a quick shower and a lunch with proteins if possible, to favor my growing and muscle development. I asked to change our meal plan with my mother, it costed the same as the last list Because we didn't have to buy milk, or cereal or anything for breakfast. Even on Sunday, we would come together to have breakfast with the Thompsons. My mother always asked if I bother them too much, and Rachael always says that a little squirrel like me couldn't eat much anyway. Haha just wait when I reach my teens!

After that, I would go to the library to return the used books and research more important football matches on the future and use my handy to complete all the details without anyone noticing it. I began to also write when I came to the library, to make a compilation of all the body training of various authors and make one on my own.

Why not in the diary? IDK about you but I like to read on paper, not on some screen.

After that, I would take the free papers that I wrote (they were actually old yellow papers not much use for them anymore) and took 2 or 3 books back home.

Late at night, I would cook for both of my mother and me, we would chat and discuss something while eating. Afterward, I would take another shower and go to my bedroom to continue reading until I fall sleep.

Doing this, a month pa.s.ses by in a blink of an eye. It was already 15 of March, Two important things happened on that date: the first one was that it was 1 month since I came back and still here. It seems that it's not a dream.

And the second thing was that I was starting my first grade. Goodbye sweet sweet summer vacation, hi nasty kid that are too stupid to notice that they are stupid.

Also, all the kids here call football "soccer" Ew! I feel ashamed every time I hear that word coming from people from my country. Maybe if I became their representative on football I could make them call it different. On the subject of the metric system, they are truly hopeless, I can only teach my kids the proper measure system and

Anyway, before starting the school I sit with my mother in a serious air and said this to her: "Mom, I'm starting first grade. I'm no longer your baby, I'm capable of taking my own desitions if that doesn't involve any illegality and harm anyone right?"

She suspiciously said "Yes, don't even think about letting you walk alone to school because you are ashamed of me! I have to ensure that you would go to school and not go somewhere to play football!"

Ouch mother, how much trust did you have in me before? Oh well, you can't fix 5 years od shannigans in one month. I nodded and said "I will not miss school, I promise. What I'm asking you are 2 things. The first one is to ask for an earlier birthday present! Don't shout at me yet! Let me finis.h.!.+" I said quickly as I was seeing her opening the mouth preparing to shout really loudly. After that, she settled and urged me to continue, which I did saying "I need that money to make a profit about absolute certain football matches results, I guarantee that I would win. I went constantly to the library for a month researching about teams and their possible results! If I fail I will not bet again, I swear it!"

She was doubting what to say and after 2 minutes she slowly said "Okay, and remember if you lose the bet you are going to quit it. How much and how are we going to do it?"

I smiled and said "THANKS MOM! YOU ARE THE BEST! Okay, the plan is simple enough, I will come to you to the "RedJackals" chain that is on town. They are a legal gambling business that deals with sports. They also have chains in Europe. I will go with you this week and I will fill all the results I have for the whole Champions League that is yet to start. We could go someday that you are free at lunch. Is at 4 blocks away from your job and 10 blocks from the school mom!"

She was impressed with my well-thought plan, not only having her go only one time and looking for a place nearby also on the days she is freer. So she accepted and said "Ok, BIG BOY. I will give you $50 dollars, the date we are going is this Friday at the end of the school week."

I nodded and settled the deal. In this past month, I cleared most of our backyard of junk and organize them on the corner of my yard. Separated by type, so it was easier to recycle. In this week I will ask borrowed the wheel cart from the Thompsons and recycle all of this, the stuff that is just junk I will throw it on the community dump.

I have most of my obstacle course ready, I added a few mannequins to practice faints and don't be frightened about big guys so easily because of my size. Also, I added a few targets round wood tables and I put them on the wall. It was a pretty decent basic obstacle course if I may say. I felt proud to be able to make this with just jun layin around.

The weekend pa.s.sed really fast and it was Monday already, my first day of First Grade. I was going to the public school walking with my mother. I already have all my bag ready for yesterday and my football ball in my hand to play as I go. My mother insisted on leaving it on the house since I didn't have another one and she was afraid that I would lose it. I said that she didn't have to worry that I would keep it safe with my life!

She laughed at that and told me to come outside beside the obstacle course that I wanted to show me something. I went outside and I saw Rachel holding the digital camera of my mother, it was a 10 MP camera that we bought last year for Christmas since she was worry that would miss my precious moments without a camera.

Oh now I remember, this was the year my mother started taking the first day of school photos. It was a cool tradition. I made a mighty and proud pose showing my obstacle course while my mother hugged me from behind. It was a warm scene. Rachel even cried a little and told me to behave well at school or she would not give me more tasty breakfast! I wail and said I would be better than Santa Claus! She laughed and pinched my cheeks.

So we finally arrived at school and saw a bunch of kids crying hugging their parents to not leave them. I was amused at the sight and told her my mother that she could pick me up at the same spot at the end of the day. She would take a break from her home to pick me up and walk home with me and then return to her work.

Who would know that the picture on the first day of first grade besides my junk obstacle course would later become so famous and even an icon for hard work?
