Chapter 86
Dohyuk and Giwon were in the ashlands, formerly the place that Grava and Changkun ruled over. Dohyuk then stopped after seeing the fifty bodies, all naked and piled up like trash.
"It's a robbery," Giwon said. He checked the bodies and found some familiar faces.
"Byungil… These were his men. I guess they were attacked on their way back."
"Attacked? By one of your people?"
Giwon nodded.
"The Circle… we don't work together."
The Circle only had one rule. Obey the Giant Circle, Jung Ilgyu. Other than that, there was no other rule.
"It is prohibited to fight against each other, but that's only restricted to the fight that makes the Tyrant annoyed or affects him in some way."
Giwon looked around as he spoke.
"Kangmin… the one you killed. I don't think it's his people. They lost their leader too."
Therefore, different forces came to attack.
"I think…"
Before Giwon could finish, Dohyuk began running in the direction they were heading towards. He had reached the answer before Giwon.
‘It's too slow.'
Giwon, Kw.a.n.gmin, and Byungil. They all had been searching the ashes hours before Dohyuk came across the area. Yet, those groups that made this mess arrived after Dohyuk left the place with Giwon. It was too late to search the ashlands, and Dohyuke realized that the group's purpose wasn't to investigate. Perhaps they knew that there was nothing in the ashes. The real treasure was in a different place.
"d.a.m.n, f*ck!" Dohyuk spat as he stopped. He hid next to a big pile of ash and looked toward the front. The group was now standing in the gra.s.sland, and he quickly counted how many of them there were.
There were about twenty of them and they had a few bodies with them.
"Those bodies…" Giwon panted from behind as he looked at the burnt bodies on the ground.
"It's from the catapult you were talking about."
"Yeah."
Dohyuk knew it didn't mean well. These people were out of the catapult's range, so it meant that those bodies had been moved there. Someone saw them dying and moved in to take the bodies back. If that was possible…
"Lee… Yuri?"
Giwon frowned. Dohyuk turned to Giwon.
"You know her?"
"Yes…"
But he knew less among the people who actually knew her. Giwon was once called the arm of the Tyrant. He knew a lot about the important figures within the organization, but Lee Yuri was an exception.
"She's a Four Circle. This time, she became powerful pretty quickly."
Giwon only knew her as a useful warrior in the previous life, and other than that, he did not know much about her.
"I won't recommend fighting her now. She too won't approach the city yet so we should…"
"I wish we could take that choice but…" Dohyuk was busy observing. "I don't think that will work."
Giwon then looked toward the
"Do you think there's a chance that they will not attack those Bermuran people?"
"…"
There was no chance. It wasn't like before where the entire world was controlled by Aruga. They didn't need to worry about the weak Aruga, and these warriors were more powerful than those Bermuran soldiers. There was nothing to be gained, but killing those Bermurans for ‘fun' was not weird at all.
Dohyuk flexed his arms and spoke as he pointed at the Bermurans walking closer to the plains.
"Go. Go and tell them my words and have them wait."
"Are you going to fight them alone?"
It was too dangerous. Even if Dohyuk was stronger than Giwon, having Giwon help him would make things much easier.
"You can't be found out yet." Dohyuk did not repeat his answer and shouted, "AH-AH!"
Twenty people, including Lee Yuri, turned toward them. They were still out of sight. Giwon ran. There was no choice now as Dohyuk fisted his hair. He thought of everything he had, every Nature and skill he knew. Then he heard the footsteps of two people from beyond the ashes.
"Fire."
One spoke. They were still about 30 meters away, but it seemed like they had ranged weapons. Dohyuk jumped to move out from the ash. Then the ash piles exploded as if they had been struck by a cannon. As he threw himself to the side, Dohyuk saw a pair of twins.
There were two women in their early thirties. Both had crossbow-like weapons that one fired at the ashes, and the other was turning toward Dohyuk.
"Right side!" the one who fired at the ash shouted.
"I know, sister."
The younger sister aimed at Dohyuk. Dohyuk would've taken the hit if it wasn't for the hair he grabbed on.
>
-Hand of Lightning
At that moment, the younger sister was stunned. Why didn't the arrow fire? She pulled the trigger. No, she ‘tried' to pull the trigger. Along with her arm, the crossbow dropped. There were a few black threads stuck to her arm. It had sliced her muscles, making her lose motor control. She then used her other hands to pull out her dagger. She had to buy time for her sister to fire. But-
"KYAAAAAA!"
She turned and saw her older sister. Her arm wasn't damaged. Instead-
"M-my eyes!!"
The younger sister then spun around again and saw a foot.
It was the sudden kick that Dohyuk had unleashed, but it wasn't powerful enough to twist the younger sister's head 180 degrees. He quickly jumped back as he landed on the ground and dodged.
"AAARGH!"
The arrow that was fired wasn't aimed since the older sister could no longer see. Dohyuk brought his hand up. He still had one more ‘lightning' in his hand.

[Bestows -Throwing Weapon- status on the object that a user holds in their hand. It is given at least F-rank for ‘throwing' and maintains its status for a certain amount of time.]
He was holding a black needle.
>
-Physical attack: 5~9
Dohyuk had made the object from his hair. With the help of Giwon's Nature, he was able to turn his hair into a throwing weapon. However, it wasn't just a normal throw.
>
This was a skill that he acquired from Aruga, a skill that allowed Aruga to become a G.o.d. Even with the skill, however, the weapon was still an F+ rank, and its damage was limited. That's why he aimed the eyes or…
"UGH!"
The throat.
Dohyuk readied himself.
"…"
He did not move, nor did he need to. Just between those few seconds that he killed twins, the remaining people were approaching him.
"Seventeen including one Four Circle…." Dohyuk mumbled. "It'll become worse in a week."
A voice reached his ears.
"Oh, you are ambitious."
The woman who spoke was probably Lee Yuri.
"I don't know what might happen in a week, but shouldn't you be worried about seconds later? Yoo Dohyuk?"
She spoke as she took out her lash. If it wasn't for the reflection from the sunlight, it would've been hard to notice that it was a lash.
"It looks like a good weapon."
"It is! Isn't it nice? It's really good. Maybe you can eat it if you win."
"…I am not that hungry," Dohyuk answered and looked at the people approaching. He then remembered what he digested recently.
