Chapter 74
The fact that the Magical World had their own s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps, really surprised the students. They never thought that the people here had their own s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps. If they had pilot s.h.i.+ps then they would have the entire fleet of scout s.h.i.+ps, cargo s.h.i.+ps, transport s.h.i.+ps fighter s.h.i.+ps etc.
Upon the landing of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p in the docking area, the CCTV showed some big wigs of the Magical World receiving the people of the Crocodile Race.
Four Aliens were seen being received. These Aliens were quite tall and quite slow in movement. They looked just like the crocodiles on Earth. But on Earth, the crocodiles were found more in the water floating like logs or on the riverside basking in the sun, where they walked on all fours.
But here, the Aliens who looked like crocodiles were called the 'Crocodile Race' and they walked erect. They balanced their weight on their two back legs with the additional support of the tail. Their huge tail was a nuisance as it swished left and right and Tina felt that it would cause a lot of accidents for the Aliens without any fault of theirs. One of the Aliens was awfully clumsy and had knocked down a few flower pots with his tail.
Tina felt sorry for him. She was a sensitive girl and realised that the Crocodile Race was called so, but the aliens were not really crocodiles. She had a hunch that the crocodile skin was actually a s.p.a.cesuit. This hunch she had, she knew that she needed to verify from the Aliens.
Aarvin walked over to where all the students were standing and asked them, "The s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p has landed, would you like to meet the Aliens after an hour or two?"
The children were waiting for such an opportunity. "Yes, Aarvin Sir, we want to meet the Aliens. It will be a dream come true."
"But at the moment they
All nodded their heads in agreement. Since there was nothing more to see in the two control rooms, the students, Sherpa and Aarvin decided it was time to go and have lunch in the Cafeteria of the Mountain as it was almost lunchtime.
The Cafeteria was not far. It was situated where the flying cars had landed when they had come in the morning.
The children recalled that at that time, when they had got out of the cars, there was a bus-like vehicle along with a driver waiting to take them inside the mountain. They had all boarded the vehicle and the Orbs who had been flying with the cars also flew above this vehicle. The vehicle had entered a meandering tunnel and made its way up the mountain. After traveling about 15-20 minutes in that vehicle, which would probably be about an hour by foot, they came to a stop. The vehicle stopped and the driver asked them to alight as their destination had arrived.
Thereafter, Aarvin had led them through the tunnel which went further up via a wide staircase and they were soon in the first dome or the first control room which was hall like with gla.s.s windows as well as a gla.s.s roof.
The students were ready to leave and they felt that they would never again get an opportunity to visit this place again. As they had not got their mobiles, they could just commit to memory all the images. If they submitted all this in their project report when they got back home, who would believe them?
The journey back was different. They got out of the first control room and took a lift down to the base of the mountain. The Orbs traveled above the roof of the lift.
Chris was a bit perturbed and asked Aarvin, "Why were we brought to the dome in such a roundabout way by the bus and then walking? Why were we not taken there directly by the lift like we are descending now?"
Aarvin laughed and replied, "It is a long story. Let us reach the Cafeteria and have our lunch, thereafter, I will tell you a story."
Soon they reached the ground floor which was actually where their flying cars had landed when they had arrived at the mountain around 9.30 a.m. They walked out of the lift and followed Aarvin who was leading the way.
At the side of the mountain and quite well hidden was an opening like that to a cave. Upon entering it there was a huge cave with lighting and set with tables which could seat 4-5 persons at a table. At the side were counters. Aarvin found one of the a.s.sistants there and asked him to join a few tables to seat 12 people. Soon this was done. They all sat down to discuss the menu to order lunch.
All the dishes were vegetarian. A few of the boys and one or two of the girls were happy with non vegetarian food. Unfortunately, everyone in the Magical World ate vegetarian food. They had not had non veg since 4-5 days back if you counted it as days by the number of hours spent here since they left their camping site where they had initially pitched their tents.
Aarvin saw their downcaste faces and said, "The human body was made to be that of a vegetarian." " See, the digestion started from the saliva which is alkaline and similar to that of herbivores. The long intestine and the appendix also indicated that the digestion of vegetarian foods needed a longer process as was needed by the body of herbivores."
"If mankind was to be a non vegetarian in nature, he would have had protruding canines like in carnivores. The digestive juices in the mouth would be acidic and there was no need for such a long intestine to digest the already digested food by the herbivorous animals that were being cooked and eaten."
Aarvin further added,"You may not like what I am saying but your world is slowly awakening to this logic. Being vegetarian is being healthy."
