Time Twister

Chapter 58

A hidden cave was located inside the tallest mountain in the range, and there sat a naked man with a floating, circular halo above his head. If one would observe that halo, they would realize that mult.i.tudes of runic writings and scriptures were written there, continuously morphing and changing.

The man looked as immaculate as the woman earlier. Even as he was frowning, he was someone that men and women would want to have a taste of.

"How is this possible…the seal has been destroyed? How long has it been," the man muttered to himself, unsure of the situation.

"This means she escaped as well…She could be anywhere-" the man paused for a bit before his face contorted to a look of puzzlement.

He actually detected her…she was moving northwest, west to where he currently in. When he released his divine aura earlier, his scan did react towards something in that direction. However, it also immediately disappeared. Does that mean she also sensed it and was currently heading there?

No! I must not let her get this and become stronger! I still have a mission to fulfill, and I cannot fail, the angelic man thought to himself. He stood up, and did a praying sign, releasing 3 pairs of white, golden wings and left the cave, pa.s.sing through the rocks, minerals, and plants like they never existed, and immediately flew to the direction the woman earlier was flying to.

Xander was currently having a headache right now. As soon as he had reached his villa, he had first detected a wave of a strong, righteous energy wave pa.s.s through his body, causing him to purify it in his body and absorb it. After all, free magic energy is magic energy. However, the next moment, he had then detected a strong, corrupting elemental wave pa.s.sing by, causing him to automatically purify the aura using the Purge element under Purgatory as well as activate [Absolute Defense]. What was surprising was that a trace remained in his body, which was slowly growing.

Xander was surprised, and then the system suddenly mentioned that this was a type of h.e.l.l element, Corruption, and should be erased immediately or it will affect his progression. This led to Xander teleporting to different locations in an attempt to wipe the trace, succeeding only at the third teleportation after applying the Destruction and Purge elements under Life and Death for the third time.

He clearly felt that these were from 2 different sources, and the ones that released these were roughly at the same level. He used his smart.w.a.tch to check all working magic satellites and even sightings for the past 15 seconds, and saw some relevant data. Using Accelerated thinking, he came up with 2 current conclusions based on the data he had.

First, these two beings are probably antagonistic to one another, due to the opposite natures of their elemental signatures. They are not natives of the planet as well, because basing it from the energy they showcased, it was above Divine cla.s.s.

Second, they were probably here on the planet already, because he had set an invisible, pa.s.sable barrier for him to detect any outsiders entering the planet discreetly. That means, either they had just woken up from their meditations, or they were released by some sort of seal.

Seal…wait, didn't I discover a gigantic seal placed in the planet, Xander mused to himself. So does that mean I released these two beings from their captivity? So, it is my fault. Ugh, more work!

d.a.m.n it. Xander said to himself bitterly, and then gathered the personnel in the villa. He also called for Faykes to come.

After 5 minutes, they were already in the living room of the villa. He looked at each one of them before saying gravely,

"I have made a mistake a few days ago."

"There was a ma.s.s hallucination event if you all remember correctly?"

They looked at each other, before nodding at Xander. Xander sighed, before saying,

"Well, it was true. I accidentally activated a spell of mine. The good news is that yes you died, but you also didn't die. You also gained experience of life and death. The bad news…"

"…is that I may have accidentally released 2 sealed beings even I have no way of fighting. And, they are all heading here right now."

"So, I need you all to leave the villa as I wipe any traces you people might have left, and protect these people, except for you Faykes. You, just go and do the task I gave you."

"To clarify, I won't be taking a no from you all. You will do what I say because frankly, it's way easier than resurrecting you lots again. Right now, you are baggage for me, designed for me to show others, specifically the Eta government, that all is well."

"So…leave. I'll tell you all when you can come back." Xander did a hand gesture, causing the words the soldiers to die in their mouths. They nodded, before giving an officer's salute to him, and they all hurriedly left to their rooms and packed their stuff up. In 10 minutes, they were done and immediately left the villa's vicinity.

Faykes also nodded in response and left the villa, following his instructions. Once everything was quiet and empty, He immediately released an elemental wave, wiping out the remnant traces left.

He then set-up a multi-dimensional barrier around the villa, as well as time-reversal and time slow all over the place.

He then headed to Eden to greet and talk with the sprites and magic beasts once again, talked with the 2 Seeds of Life who were now starting to create flowers, and then checked up the progress of his contracted sprites and magic beast have, before leaving and entering the laboratory.

He saw that the Tree of Creation was growing nicely, and if one wasn't sensitive to Order and Chaos elements, they would have just seen a simply old tree. It was already 60 meters in height, and 2 meters in width. Its roots were rapidly extending underground, currently with a 100-meter radius from the tree.

There were no fruits being produced so he started to plant another Tree of Creation, as well as a Tree of Destruction, all three being equidistant to one another.

He left and headed to the sofa in the living room, opening the hologram viewer to watch a series from Metflix. Trying to wait for his two untimely visitors to appear outside, hopefully, of the villa.

After an hour, he felt visible elemental fluctuations occur in the villa's protective barrier, however, he acted like he didn't notice it and continued watching.

Minutes pa.s.sed, and Xander spoke out, without pausing the episode,

"Are you just going to stand there all night? Sit. We're still waiting for the other one to come in."

________________________________

Cenele had reached the general area of where the thing reacted with her magic. From the conversations she had casually with the folks in this place, it seems this was called Callows

She also browsed a bit in the library to double-check what was the time and era she had been sealed. She was surprised to see that it had been more than 600,000 years ago.

600,000 years… although for them 6-winged devils, such a time could pa.s.s in a blink of their eyes, it was still quite shocking that she had been trapped in such a puny planet for this amount of time. She closed the book she was reading virtually and left the library. She was now going to search for the mystery person or thing that had caused a reaction to her spells.

"Hmm…should I release a stronger magic wave to see if it reacts again?" Cenele pondered to herself, before discovering a clue: There was a villa that her spiritual perception couldn't get into!

Although this was a unique trait common to Celestials and Infernals, and that they have ways of blocking this ability, she hasn't experienced such a thing in the physical dimension.

Cenele wasn't stupid, so the appearance of that villa seemed like a beacon for her to enter. When she came to look at the villa, she was more astounded, because it was built with layers upon layers of s.h.i.+fting dimensions, continuously changing every fraction of a second.

Could the person or thing that reacted to my power be proficient in the s.p.a.ce element, Cenele thought to herself. Although traversing multiple dimensions is easy for Infernals, traveling through a multi-layered, multi-s.h.i.+ft dimensional barrier is not, because they have to find the right moment to strike to create a hole into the actual s.p.a.ce they wanted to get into.

If they strike at the wrong time, it just creates a whole in one dimension but doesn't manage to go to the other dimension. She needed to ensure the dimensions that appear in that fraction of a second are actually one right after the other.

If one were to visualize how dimensions exist, they would begin to visualize it as a big-a.s.s pancake stack. Dimension 0 to Dimension Z in an ordered arrangement. At Dimension 0, there would be other stacks, such as Dimension 0 to Dimension C, 0 to E, Dimension 0 to 1, etc.

On Dimension 1, there would a set of stacks as well connected to it, from 1 to Z, 1 to A, 1 to X, etc. And they are all interconnected. This meant that if stack one (Dimension 1 to 3) contains D1, 2, and 3, and stack two (Dimension 1 to A) contains D1, 2, 3, 4… and A, these dimensions share the same dimensions 1, 2, and 3.

As Infernals and Celestials, they had been trained to master configurations of dimensions in the Universe, allowing them to take the most optimal/safest/fastest path possible.

She quickly calmed down and began to observe the s.h.i.+fting dimensions. After nearly an hour, she finally managed to break a direct hole to the villa itself, entering within less than a fraction of a second.

She saw herself appear in the living room, and saw a… child, watching something play in front. It wasn't like the television she knew of 600,000 years ago, but rather 3-dimensional, almost as if you can be part of the situation that was being played out. She scanned the whole villa and saw there was only this child present in the whole house.

She also detected 2 different s.p.a.ce pockets, one of which was at the wrist of the kid, and one at the bas.e.m.e.nt below. However, when she tried to go to the bas.e.m.e.nt, she was stopped by the protective layers of metal alloy. Her magic and physical attributes couldn't even dent the thing. Cenele was surprised, wondering if the citizens of this planet had reached this level of mastery in material formation.

She returned to the living room and still saw the kid watching like he didn't hear the noise she made when she attempted to break into the bas.e.m.e.nt.

She was deciding what steps she should take when she finally heard a voice coming from the kid's direction.

"Are you going to stand there all night? Sit. We're still waiting for the other one to come in." Upon hearing the child-like voice, Cenele was surprised to hear that the kid was able to sense her, much less discover that she was already in the villa. What surprised her more, was that her body was suddenly subjected to an outside force, controlling her movements as she was taken aback. As she neared the couch, however, she used her powers to break the s.p.a.ce bindings on her body, and sensually and casually took a seat on one of the couches, before staring at the little kid.

"Kid, you're impressive. What's your name?" Cenele asked, her voice dripping with seductiveness and

"Hmm? Elements of Concupiscence and… Corruption? That's quite rare. An infernal? In the physical dimension? Aren't you stationed in the Abyss and in h.e.l.l realms? What are you doing here?" Xander responded to Cenele's question by questioning her, throwing her back.

"Oh? It seems you know what I am. Are you the one that triggered my magic wave earlier?"

"You mean that trashy corruption mark? I purged and destroyed it. Quite a ha.s.sle really. Can you like, return to your dimension, grandma?" Xander said while yawning, causing Cenele to smile a bit colder than before.

"Teehee, how could a little boy like you understand such matters of adults? How can you call me a grandma, kiddo, that hurts my feelings! Call me, hmm, Sister Cen, that's about right. Yeah, call me Sister Cen." She said forcefully in response. After all, no woman would want to be called a granny by a kid, no doubt.

"Ok Sister Cen, can you like get the f.u.c.k out of this dimension and head to your home dimension? I promise I'll even open a direct pathway for you to go if you agree." Xander said cutely, but his words were quite sharp and jarring for Cenele's ears. Even though Infernals were denoted as devils and demons, they were quite sophisticated, albeit can be a bit brash, of a race.

"Now, now boya. Don't you want to have fun with this sister?" Cenele said, attempting to seduce Xander.

Xander just rolled his eyes and asked, "Where's your horns sister Cen? Don't tell me… did you break them? What a clumsy infernal, this one."

Cenele wanted to burst out with her power and just beat Xander senseless, but the moment she had that though, a strong sense of existential crisis appeared in her very being, warning her about her thoughts, so she just blew a raspberry at him. After a while, Cenele became bored, so she continued to release more and more of her powers of concupiscence that had a hint of corruption, causing Xander's face to scrunch up in distaste.

He waved his hand and everything in villa suddenly glowed, before disappearing, and then being replaced by a new set of the same stuff. He then shot Cenele a look.

"Stop dirtying my house. The next time you do that, I'll be sending you on a trip in the void." Cenele wasn't bothered with his threat, but she did tone down in the usage of her powers, relying on her natural charm.

This was continuously done by her as she watched with Xander the show being displayed, screaming and crying when she saw a character suddenly die and stuff happened. This went on for 10-30 more minutes, causing Xander to glance at Cenele and give her a weird look.

It was by this time, he finally detected another being's presence, causing him to pause the hologram, to the annoyance of Cenele, who was engrossed with the current episode.

"Finally, he's here." Upon saying these words, an immaculate-looking, well-toned man appeared in his living room, pa.s.sing through the door like it never existed.

"Hmm… Chast.i.ty and Charity elements… A celestial? Why did Heaven send you to arrest the infernal, don't they know she has the Corruption element? Sheesh, quite a shoddy work. Hmm, maybe he's from the Blessings Court, given his body and looks. Tsk."

"Gahah oh my, sorry Michel, I didn't know you were from THAT division. HAHAHA oh my gos.h.!.+" Cenele burst out, laughing at the words Xander said at the angel, causing the latter, Michel, to turn red in anger.

After all, he didn't have Patience or Temperance as his primary element. He turned to look at Xander, who on the other hand, just forced the two of them to shut up by locking the s.p.a.ce around and in them.

"Shut it angel, I don't care what you are going to say. You too demoness. Just don't speak, both of you. First, I was the one that broke the seal by accident, since I basically destroyed the planet and reformed it again before anyone noticed something different. I don't care what your grievances are, but if you plan to stay in this planet, just follow 2 simple rules."

"First rule: Do not kill anyone indiscriminately. If you do, I'll personally file a complaint with your superiors in the respective dimensions. Yes, I can directly teleport you guys to the deepest depths of your respective dimensions even if you are a 6-winged. Yes, I can request an audience to the Almighty and the Fallen quite easily, since I can connect to the ordered system and rat you two out." Of course, Xander was bl.u.s.tering about the latter part; he still couldn't communicate or even influence the ordered system of the universe he is in. However, these two didn't know that, right?

"Second and most important rule. Do not bother or interact with me at all if you decide to stay in the physical dimension. Do not follow me, or do not attempt to manipulate or threaten the people around me. Do anything of the sort, I'll a.s.sure you, I will destroy the planet once again in the same fas.h.i.+on that caused your seals to be destroyed alongside the two of you."

Xander paused and looked at the two beings. "If you both plan to leave the planet, and continue your fight in the wide wide universe, please make sure to do so 30 light-years away from the planet."

"If you agree to this terms, make an existential vow to the Almighty and to the Fallen right now," Xander said, before removing the constraints the two were experiencing.

In truth, he could only forcefully maintain it for 10 minutes, especially since they were already a 6-winged being. It was roughly equivalent to a Sage-6 cultivator. If they were Divine rank or 5-winged, he could maintain it for an hour. At 4-winged or DemiG.o.d, He could easily maintain it for a day.

The information he got concerning infernals and celestials came from the system, which Xander sent to do a data harvesting on the realms under the control of Infernals and Celestials. Probably their own AIs are having a breakdown right now concerning their data breach, but oh well, not his problem.

However, as expected, instead of creating a vow, they launched their attacks towards one another and towards Xander, which just p.i.s.sed him off. He snapped his fingers.

Immediately all their attacks stilled in mid-air. Surprise colored their faces, before puzzlement, and then a realization. They looked at Xander with wariness.

"Finally caught on, huh? Yes, welcome to one of my baby semi-independent universal s.p.a.ce. It even has its own dimensions! Everything, by the way, is under my control in this s.p.a.ce. Quite nice, isn't it?"

"Now, since you both decided not to actually make the vow, I have no choice but to send this to the nearest Void hole and dump it outside the universe. See you guys, well, never, I guess?" Xander moved towards the staircase slowly, as if waiting for something.

And it wasn't in vain. After 5 seconds, it was Cenele who cracked first.

"Wait, I'll make a vow! Just don't send me outside!" She firmly believed that Xander had that ability. Why? Well, doesn't the livable pocket s.p.a.ce that has its own ordered system an example of his capability? She wasn't stupid; she felt that there was something obstructing her natural connection to the Ordered system, so the kid must be telling the truth.

She immediately began her vow, not missing any part, or attempting to find a loophole. Once she was done, she felt something shackle in the depths of her heart, and into her partially-fused Elemental Essence Stone, connecting her deeper to the Fallen. This was why no one from Celestials and Infernals likes to make an existential vow. Vows had a stronger attachment to their very being.

Upon seeing her complete the ritual, Xander looked at Michel, who was quite proud and angry at the same time, before he decided to make a vow as well to the Almighty. These vows were quite detrimental if broken because by then, the Almighty or the Fallen can have a right to your own existence, and may begin deciding for you if too many vows were made and broken as well.
