Chapter 30
Arwin stepped inside and saw it was a quite a large for a sell and it had a private toilet and shower section with a real bed inside.
There was also a writing table and a really well-made chair.
"You will get every item you possess when you get free, but for now, they are going to be stored in our warehouse," Smith said while taking the items to the warehouse.
^In the same time at the bar^
"Captain, we have gathered every testimony, and everyone says they heard that Vincent declared himself as the murderer and tried to attack this woman here and the young master that was arrested.
Listening to the woman's story, her name is Jenn, and she had already twice complained to us about Vincent's behavior and said his a stalker, but as there hasn't been enough evidence, we couldn't do anything to it." One of the guards reported to the Fenton.
"I guess we need to do a home call then.
Has the man recovered at all yet? Or do we have the address already?" Fenton asked out while tr.i.m.m.i.n.g his mustache.
"Yes, Jenn said she could take us there as she had gone there once when she was paid to serve." The guard said while saluting.
"Jenn, you will bring us to the house as it seems we have an excellent reason to search the house at the same time you can repeat anything you know about Vincent to me.
Otherwise, you all are free to continue your evening and don't go and cause troubles as if I caught someone I will throw that person straight to the jail." Fenton said while stepping outside from the bar.
"Miss of you could lead the way now, please," Fenton said while waiting for Jenn to take the lead.
There were five other guards following Fenton while they were walking in the streets.
Fenton was actively listening to Jenn about Vincent as
So he had lost some weight from the sleepless nights he has had and was more annoyed than usual.
"It's here, mister guard that house over there," Jenn said while pointing out towards a house.
It was a small wooden house with two stores quite an ordinary in this city, but Fenton didn't care about it, and he didn't even care about kicking the door open he just immediately took a giant mace and hit the door out of its place and walked inside.
"Misters now search this house through as a dog's you are and bring everything you think as evidence to this room.
Miss Jenn, if you would be so kind as to wait outside." Fenton straight while turning right.
The rest of the guards saluted, and everyone started to head towards their own direction.
After a while, there wasn't anything significant that had been found before someone shouted out.
"Fenton, sir, can you come here I think I have found something important."
Fenton walked to the room and didn't see anything else in the room than a simple bed with a writing table and chair.
"What is it? As now I don't see anything here, so I hope this isn't a miss call, or you will be in the cleaning duty for the next month." Fenton said impatiently as he would want to go and continue his short sleep again.
"Yes sir, that is what I thought first, but then I walked over this part, and it felt and sounded different like there would be an empty s.p.a.ce under it." The guard said that while showing the differences between the floors, Fenton even noticed that it sounded different.
"Good job, let's see what does this reveal to us," Fenton said and mashed his mace towards the floor, and suddenly, there was a ma.s.sive hole at the floor, and they saw a ladder leading down.
"Good job, you might even get a promotion because of this," Fenton said out, and the guard just smiled brightly.
When Fenton climbed down, he came to a room that was covered with paintings and drawings.
The subject of these seemed to be Jenn as the woman in them looked just like her.
There were ordinary ones, erotic ones, and even ones, and the creepiest was where Vincent had drawn or painted him alongside of Jenn with children among them.
Vincent seemed to be obsessed about her to the point of covering the room with her.
"We really do have a creepy stalker," Fenton said while walking middle of the room, and there seemed to be a diary. When Fenton opened the diary, he saw how Vincent had written about Jenn and how they belong together and how she is only his and how he had already killed for her as no one else can touch her than him.
"He really was the real deal; this is a jackpot," Fenton said while asking the guards to take the drawings out and store them as evidence.
But then he saw a small cabinet in the corner of the room, and when he went and opened it, he saw all of the missing ears as those that were murdered all were missing their right ear.
Now those ears were there in that cabinet like trophies as mementos made to a necklace, and there was a letter that said to Jenn in the middle of it.
