Rebirth Of The Tree Fujoshi

Chapter 125

"Eh?" I answer in confusion.

"You we're trying to leave earlier."

Oh...well since I have my own personal transportation system, for now, I better use it to it's upmost. "Bring me to the nearest tree." I want to test something out.

Fedora walks in his kimono over to the nearest tree. On the way, I take in my surroundings. We really are back at the make-s.h.i.+ft camp. I look off into the distance to see the towering vine walls. Just how much area do the vines encompa.s.s? I don't actually know. The creation of the vines was more of a.. subconscious thing, like most of the powers I use, I don't actually know how I do it.

I wonder where I cut everything off? What did I give this side, my side, Kuro's side? What did I give the other

Making our way to the nearest tree, I try to enter my consciousness into it, but I can't. It feels like there's some kind of rebound whenever I try to enter, an invisible force field. This...might be a problem. I thought if I didn't use the fairy body, I wouldn't feel the pain, but now I can't even find out. I gotta hurry or this pain is going to drive me crazy.

Noticing my frown, Fedora says nothing, waiting for next location.

"...While everyone was preparing for the war, I built a garden...but I don't know if it's on this side or that side... Can we go check it out?"

Instead of answering verbally, FedorSan just stares at me, leaning against the tree and yawning, waiting for the directions.

As I point him into the direction of the garden I also ask him a couple other questions,"Which side has the river you hid around during the first attack?"

Das.h.i.+ng towards the direction I pointed in while keeping his arm as steady as possible, FedorSan has an expression of 'should I waste the energy to answer the question.' Hearing my pitiful (fake) groans of pain, he answers,"Considering it's not on this side... I can only a.s.sume it never existed in the first place and you're just insane." He gives me a knowing smirk.

Haha very funny...so it's on his side...

ha, I'm still biased to the end it seems.

Wait..."Where are you going to get your water from now on?"

He ponders on my question, and refutes with a nonchalant att.i.tude,"...I guess we'll just die of thirst, thanks to you."

Seeing my horrified and guilt-ridden expression, he explains,"...Kidding, there's a small lake about three miles in the opposite direction." He pointed with his chin.

...d.a.m.n monotone voice, how am I supposed to tell what's a joke and what's not? I ignore FedorSan out of frustration during the rest of the ride.
