Chapter 9
- What are you doing here?
- Mom called me to pick you up, she wants to talk with both of us.
- Do you think is about that matter? She asked as they both got in the car.
- I think so... we just have to wait till we get home. Should I go fast or slow?
- It's your car, it's up to you. As long as we get home in one piece.
How was your day at work?
Seeing his sister unhappy face and the fact she didn't answered, he said:
- I guess you had a horrible day. Did something bad happen?
- Who's fault is that Lance came to work at the company as my a.s.sistant?
And I'm sure 100% that he doesn't want to be my babysitter either.
- He's not there to babysit you.
- No? Then I guess he's there to keep an eye on me. Which I don't want it.
- Truth is that I asked Lance to work at the company to protect the person I love from other guys. (Sorry Bree, I can't tell you the real reason why Lance is working there).
- Since you like Irene, you should make him her a.s.sistant, not
- Irene? Who told you that I like her?(I don't even like her, don't know what made you think that I like Irene. I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me either. She's like... She's like... I don't even now how to describe her). Beside, you know that Irene is an intelligent woman and she'll figure out right away.
- We've reached home, we'll talk about this some other time. Lets go in.

Both Bree and James went inside their home, found their parents waiting them to eat dinner together before the big talk. James and his father were in the living room waiting for his sister and his mom to finish was.h.i.+ng the dishes so they could start.
- I want both of you to know that Mr.and Ms. Denver aren't my real parents. I was adopted at the age of five. I hired a private detective to search for my real parents. I know it's to sudden for you and that I might shocked you with this but I didn't want to tell you about this until the detective actually found them. My real parents live in France. And I wish to go and see them to know the reason why they let my go.
Their father didn't lift his eyes from the ground until he finished talking. But he was the one that was in for a surprise. Looking at them he didn't see a shock on their faces but instead he saw their smiling faces.
- Finally, father has told us the truth. James said.
- What do you mean by that James? Asked his mother.
- We noticed a long time ago that dad doesn't resemble grandmother and grandfather. So we are okay with everything that you want to do.
- Thank you to both of you. Said their father as he hugged them with a warm smile on his face.
