I'm Really A Kpop Idol

Chapter 11

Wearing the loose t-s.h.i.+rt, he entered the Gym. After all, he was there for a morning work out and not showing off his abs like other idols are doing. Not to mention, looking at his whitish skin tone, anyone would think he don't work out very much, although no one knows that he already has chocolate abs under that loose t-s.h.i.+rt of his, as Jun never change in front of others.

Jun saw there are several idols, some are younger than him while most are older, are in their workouts while the trainers are looking after them. A shame that except a few, he wasn't able to recognize anyone's faces or names.

As he looked around to see any familiar ones, Jun heard a voice from behind, "excuse me, can you move aside?" Jun immediately turned back and moved aside and saw three people, who look like in their late twenties pa.s.sed him. Then, one of them turned back and asked, "I never seen you before. Are you new, here? A rookie idol?"

Jun bowed and introduced himself, "h.e.l.lo sunbae, I'm Han Sungjun. I'm not yet an idol. I'm still my pre-debut stage." Hearing his answer, the other person lost interest and ignored him and then, went in his way while everyone greeted them.

Although, Jun felt a bit embarra.s.sed about his situation but then thought, "these are just tiny pebbles in the path. I don't need to care about these little ones. I was the one with the Kpop system. I'm destined to go the top, eventually." Without caring about others, Jun just started working out while taking the help of a trainer from time to time.

After eating breakfast along with Minsu, while

As Jun handed over the 12inch-Tab, Minsu nodded and started looking at the videos on youtube to see which one should he learn. Meanwhile, Jun entered the Vocal opened the door and entered the Vocal chamber to practice his singing, where there is a noise cancellation completely so that no one is able to disturb one another.

Later, at 8 o'clock, Minsu informed Jun that he'll be going since he has to go to college and return after lunch. So, at 8:15 in the morning, Jun was all alone in this s.p.a.cious training room as a coach entered the room.

He was surprised to realize there's only one trainee here. Meanwhile, Jun was surprised to see this famous coach of the Echo, standing before him. Jun bowed, "h.e.l.lo, teacher. My name is Han Sungjun." He nodded and introduced himself, "I'm Lee Joonho, your group's vocalist teacher. By the way, where are the other four?"

Jun replied, "I think Dohyun has school and the remaining have college to attend." Joonho nodded, "it's alright. I heard your voice the first time at Yearly evaluation. I think you have great talent and you also have the potential to improve further. It also seems like Chairman is looking forward to your group since he managed to convince me to coach you guys." Jun bowed, "thank you."

Joonhho then said, "in today's cla.s.s, you will be practicing with your scale range. From the videos I've a.n.a.lyzed, your voice suits high tones but when the scale is very low or the scale is at a normal range, the quality drops for you. You have to focus primarily on that." Jun nodded, "yes."

90 minutes later, a new Dance coach, Mo Songmin, who is also one of the judges entered the room and his reaction is also the same as Joonho as he saw only Jun present there. He was a little bit more disappointed as he saw Minsu didn't present but that disappointment went away as he saw Jun's dance.

He nodded with a clap, "you can stop, Sungjun. Honestly, it was a surprise for me. I thought you are a pure vocalist but seems like you are a talented dancer but you really need to work hard." Jun nodded as he thought, "well, how can not be a talented dancer? I have 7 points of talent. Whether it's my learning speed or whether it's creativity, I'm now way better than before two weeks ago, hehe."

Songmin then taught ch.o.r.eography for him to learn. As Jun began to do steps one by one, Songmin observed him silently and didn't bother to correct him as first of all, an idol was supposed to realize his mistake and correct it by himself. Secondly, he would be again teaching the same thing in the afternoon, either way.

90 more minutes later, Jun's worst nightmare entered. The rapping coach, ka Namgiwho was once again, one of the judges of yearly evaluation. Unlike the other two, he didn't care much and asked him a bit blankly, "rap something from one of the songs you are familiar with. It doesn't matter whether it's English or Korea. I want to see the level of your rap.

Jun gulped as he knew he definitely doesn't have the talent for rapping. But still, as he was ordered to do so, he thought of one song and started to sing it.

Not even 20 seconds pa.s.sed, coach Namgi stopped him and sighed, "no can do, You definitely aren't suited for rapping. So, all you have to do is to listen to various hip-hop music songs, and just try to copy their style and practice it. You can't go for freestyle rapping yet. You better stick to your Vocals."

45 minutes later, he went to lunch and returned to the training room to take a nap in a corner for an hour while having noise-canceling headphones in his ears to sleep peacefully without any disturbance for an hour. After an hour, the melody songs stopped and he heard rock songs all of a sudden. Immediately he woke up and found the four of them are already here and are practice some ch.o.r.eography.

As they greeted him, Minsu asked curiously, "so, how are our new teachers." Jun smiled in return, "oh, you will definitely love them. All I can say that our debts will really increase exponentially if we don't debut soon enough."
