Chapter 25
They heard the soul-numbing roars again and felt their fine hairs stand
Asher looked down toward the G.o.d Domain Realm Jungle, but his view was blocked by the many trees inside.
"Oh my... look over there!" A trembling voice full of fear called out
Asher heard Logan and looked toward the back of the Jungle and saw what Logan was talking about as he made a 'O' shaped mouth.
The once extremely tall and vibrant trees that reached the heavens and lived for who knows how long were getting uprooted and snapped.
The people in the G.o.d Realm called these trees supreme trees as they all had strong life forces within and were extremely hard to break, but they were all getting ripped to shreds by the force and aura of their millions of inhabitants charging together.
"Why are they ruining their own homeland."
Asher scowled his sword-like eyebrows at the seemingly stupidity of the G.o.d Beasts.
He took a closer look and found out that the various G.o.d Beasts who had ranks below lord all just seemed to be in a complete frenzied state, not caring about their actions at all.
They watched as the wave of G.o.d Beast's crashed into the supreme trees, snapping and breaking sounds followed by loud pounding noises on the ground that created constant earth tremors.
Asher for some reason thought of a quote he read in an ancient book while seeing the millions of G.o.d Beast's charging toward his home
"Great Calamities always involve Great Fortune."
.....
'What kind of fortune could I get in this situation?'
Asher pondered
Asher and his group continued to observe the constant stream of G.o.d Beast's for four days and nights in complete silence, luckily not meeting any G.o.d Beast's above lord rank.
Logan seemed to almost p.i.s.s himself in fear from the many flying-type G.o.d Beast's that would go near them, but Asher's female shadow would s.h.i.+ft their position to avoid any problems as they tried to figure out the whole situation.
"We should go back your highness."
The shadow's voice that was as beautiful as ever rang out in everyone's ears but was met with no response.
They all looked toward Asher who was staring at the once vibrant jungle that was now like a praire, they could catch glimpses of him muttering about calamity something fortune something
"Asher"
Chloe shook Asher's hand that has been holding hers and called out hoping to get his attention.
Asher who was staring at a certain place in the jungle didn't turn around or acknowledge her as he was in a sort of trance-like state.
"Guys....."
Asher's charming voice was finally heard as they saw him point toward the place were he was staring at
Now that the supreme-like trees were broken down it was much easier to have a clear view of the G.o.d Domain Realm Jungle and Asher pointed towards what looked to them like nothing
"Do you guys feel something calling you?"
Asher asked in a deep voice with his back toward the group.
They shook their heads and looked at Asher with a weird look like he was crazy.
Asher deactivated the life saving talisman then used 'Stardart' to quickly move towards whatever was calling him.
'Stardart' was the Second style of the Star G.o.d Slayer Art, it gathers the star energy into Asher's body and explodes out which allows him to move as fast as starlight
Asher's star energy was completely used as he continuously used 'Stardart' for two hours toward his destination.
Asher finally made it where he felt like he was getting summoned, he looked around
A tree
One tree was magnificently standing strong in the midst of all the broken ones.
'What makes this tree so different from the others?"
Asher wondered as he walked up to it and caressed the tree trunk.
"Huh?"
Asher felt that there was absolutely no life fluctuations coming from the tree meaning it was either man-made or dead.
It obviously wasn't dead as it was the only tree that wasn't trampled to death and was standing perfectly tall and looked as supreme as the other trees.
As he examined the tree further Dawn, Liam, Logan, Henry, Savannah, Chloe, Sarah and the shadow arrived. It took longer for them as they didn't have such an amazing movement skill as Asher so the shadow traveled much slower by gathering them all together.
"What happened?" Sarah was the first to speak up and asked Asher
"Come here, don't you think it's strange that this tree is the only one standing? It also doesn't have any life force."
They were all confused then shocked as they felt the tree and knew Asher was correct.
"Could there be a legacy inside it?" Liam the Asura Prince asked.
The tree was fairly wide and large, though it couldn't hold a legacy inside, it could have a teleportation array which leads to one.
Legacies were relics and inheritances from a high ranked expert and were usually found in the G.o.d Realm Domain's Jungle, there were stories about people with trash or average talent becoming genius's if they survive the relic's trials.
There were many who died from the trials as-well, with danger comes opportunity, these legacies have the chance to change a person's life.
Asher's eyes lit up as he thought the same, this tree had been here for thousands or even millions of years yet looked like it hasn't been discovered by anyone that it was man-made since people wouldn't usually break the supreme trees or go around checking the life force of the endless amount of them.
If the G.o.d Beasts never rummaged the G.o.d Domain Realm Jungle and broke most of the trees in this area they would have never found this.
"The question is.. how do we open this?"
Asher and his group used many different types of methods to try and reveal a secret pa.s.sage, they even attacked the tree with their full power, but nothing ever happened, it was like the tree was made of adamantine, even the lord ranked shadow woman couldn't do anything.
They didn't know how long they've spent on trying to open the tree but alas whatever they did had no effect.
"d.a.m.n! Why would you call me here if you aren't even going to open!" Asher kicked the tree after saying this but soon regretted it as he felt a sharp pain on his foot and started hopping around and holding his foot in agony.
Everyone shook their head at Asher and decided to give up for the day, it was almost night so they all decided to stay here in hopes of a miracle.
.....
"Savannah come here!"
Asher's voice called out and a beautiful long blonde haired girl with s.h.i.+ny ruby phoenix eyes showed up infront of him.
Savannah's skin was white and tender, she was a very stunning girl with a charming and delicate face. She was sure to grow up and be a divine G.o.ddess, she had a slender waist, nice bubbly b.u.t.tocks and a pair of b.r.e.a.s.t.s that slightly swelled on her chest. She was 5'5 and the same age as Asher.
Asher looked Savannah up and down and said
"I think us kissing will make the legacy open"
"Really!!!!!?" A cute and high-pitched voice was heard from her mouth
Savannah was incomparably excited about getting an inheritance from a legacy, that means she could get stronger! She would do almost anything to get stronger because that means she can kill even more!
"Mn Mn" Asher nodded with the upmost confidence as everyone stared at his shameless behavior with gaping mouths.
"Okay!! How do we do it????? We need to hurry before anyone else comes!"
Savannah was getting more and more excited, ah a true blonde.
"Okay....we can start off slow first" Asher said as he put his incomparably handsome face closer to Savannah's beautiful radiant pure red lips, but before he could get any closer he was pushed by a strong force.
Chloe who was watching the whole thing couldn't help but get jealous, she finally had enough and walked up to Asher and shoved his head away from Savannah and rolled her eyes, she was used to Asher's antics the whole year they've been together.
"Stop playing around, the sun is about to go down, we should set up the house and go to sleep."
Asher who got pushed by Chloe wasn't in a good mood 'i'm going to teach you a lesson little girl' he roared in his heart. Asher was going to yell at Chloe that it wouldn't hurt to try, but stopped the words from coming out as the sun finally set.
At the exact same time the sun set the tree they were all hoping to unlock made creaking sounds as if a rusty door was slowly opening.
Asher and his group turned toward the tree to find a large pitch black hole that was definitely not there before.
No words were said as they all thrusted toward the opening
