Chapter 43: Youth Painting Competition
Chapter 43: Youth Painting Competition
Lu Ming touched his arm. He was disgusted by the word ‘Sheng Sheng’.
His cousin was very cold. Usually, he would not say much to people who had nothing to do with him. When it came to women, he kept an extremely large distance from them. He thought that he would be a bachelor for the rest of his life.
He did not expect Qin Sheng to appear.
She was still a third-year high school student. Wasn’t he like an old cow nibbling on young grass?
Lu Ming thought so, but he didn’t dare to say it out loud. He nodded and agreed with a smile.
Taking care of Qin Sheng wasn’t a problem. On the contrary, he could get benefits from Fu Hanchuan.
He had been working on that top-notch computer for many years, but he still refused to give it to him. Lu Ming only agreed to take care of Qin Sheng in school, and he gave the computer to him.
It was as if a new continent had happened to Lu Ming. He had to cling tightly to Qin Sheng’s thigh.
After hanging up the phone, Fu Hanchuan’s slender and good-looking fingers swiped across the screen of his phone. He opened his contact list, and the top contact was Qin Sheng.
The middle school in H City was not strict, so they could bring their phones.
However, Fu Hanchuan was worried that he would disturb Qin Sheng. No matter how anxious he was, he controlled his emotions and did not call her.
In school, Qin Sheng was still being pointed at by some people. However, with the principal’s orders, they did not dare to be too presumptuous. Qin Sheng did not care about the gazes of unrelated people.
After returning to the Qin family, she was also questioned by Qin
Qin Sheng replied indifferently that it had nothing to do with her. She went upstairs and didn’t eat. When she came back, she had already eaten on the way.
Qin Hai was so angry that his chest heaved up and down vigorously. He called her a rebellious daughter.
Qin Churou was the same. She couldn’t believe it. Qin Sheng’s attitude was completely different from what she thought. She was known as being kept as a mistress and a country bumpkin. This was easy for her to be isolated by the students. Now, Qin Sheng was being criticized by almost everyone in the school except for Class 4. Shouldn’t Qin Sheng be in pain and sadness?
But Qin Sheng was acting as if nothing had happened.
‘Qin Sheng must be faking it.’ Qin Churou could only comfort herself like this. She still felt very uncomfortable.
Not long after she returned to her room, she received a call from Fu Hanchuan. Her brows were slightly curved.
She put the phone to her ear. "Brother Fu."
Qin Sheng was very cold, but in front of Fu Hanchuan, her voice was tinged with warmth.
In this world, she only dared to trust Fu Hanchuan and Old Master Lu.
"Sheng Sheng." Fu Hanchuan stood in front of the French window and pulled open the curtains. "Are you okay?"
Qin Sheng was only stunned for a moment before she understood that Fu Hanchuan was referring to the incident that happened at school today. She didn’t want Fu Hanchuan to worry, so she answered truthfully, "It’s not a big deal. It’ll be fine after a long rumor."
Fu Hanchuan heaved a sigh of relief. "Then, do you need my help?"
"No need, Brother Fu." Qin Sheng narrowed her eyes. "I know who spread this rumor."
Fu Hanchuan nodded and said in a slightly hoarse voice, "If you can’t solve it, remember to look for me."
"Okay." Qin Sheng agreed. However, Qin Churou didn’t need Fu Hanchuan’s help. It wouldn’t be difficult to get rid of her.
The two chatted for a while more before hanging up.
Qin Sheng sat in front of the computer desk. There was a page of introduction about the National Youth Painting Competition. It would be held in more than three months. It was called the Youth Painting Competition for short. H City only had two spots.
Before the Youth Painting Competition was held, H City would have a selection. The participants would send their paintings to the painting association of H City. They would then select the two best paintings.
In the previous selection competition of H City, Qin Churou was second.
Qin Sheng’s standard was higher than Qin Churou’s. Her talent in painting was extremely high, and she was good at observation. Her paintings were very spiritual.
